A Day of Food and Song

International Day of Celebration

A Day of Food and Song

July 14,  2-5pm  Free Event !

All ages welcome

Thanks to a grant from the Millennium Stadium we are holding an International day of celebration of goodwill for mankind; A day of sharing, food and song. The purpose of the day is to celebrate food, ceramics and music from different cultures.

In preparation we are inviting people with different cultural backgrounds to bring or make food together to share with others. We have invited people from Ukraine, Czech Republic, Japan, and many others countries. If you enjoy the cooking from your country of origin we would love to hear from you, please email office@midwalesarts.org.uk

We also ask that you bring the recipe for your dish so that we can collect them and produce a book, it will be the basis of a print shed project.

We have been busy making platters and bowls in the pottery studio and will celebrate the various skills of the makers. These will all be fired and ready to use by the 14th (the kiln is working overtime!).

The Hafren Choir will be singing songs from around the world.

This will be a free event, please contact office@midwalesarts.org.uk to let us know if you are coming or via eventbrite
