Printing Workshop: Lino cutting

Saturday 20 July, 10-4  £65

Book direct or via eventbrite

Experienced printmaker, Jeb Loy Nichols will guide you through the basic skills of lino cutting so that you will develop an understanding of the potential of this medium, designing and producing your own print during the day.

Participants will find it useful to bring a sketch book with some ideas of an image they want to pursue.

Suitable for complete beginners to those who have printed before and want to extend their knowledge.

All workshop materials are provided.

The workshop will take place in our new, purpose-built, light and airy Print Studio, next to our gallery spaces and cafe with a view over open countryside.

Come and have a relaxing, creative day learning about lino printing with the excitement of taking home your own print.

About the tutor: Jeb Loy Nichols is a very experienced printmaker. He trained in New York and has taught extensively at Mid Wales Arts, as well as around the country, including Wimbledon College of Art. "I'm a printmaker because it's slow and quiet and takes its time".
