Lino Printing Workshop

Experienced tutor, Jeb Loy Nichols will guide you through creating a design that works for lino printing. He will support you in learning various carving and printing techniques, before producing your own artwork.

Come along with an idea/sketches of the print you would like to make or be inspired by artwork, books and illustrations at Mid Wales Arts Centre and be guided by Jeb. You will develop a new way of understanding the potential of this medium.

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners to those who have printed before and want to extend their knowledge.

All workshop materials are provided.

About the tutor: Jeb Loy Nichols is an artist, musician and writer who, though born in America, has lived for over 20 years on a remote small holding in Wales. He trained in New York and has taught extensively at Mid Wales Arts Centre, as well as around the country, including Wimbledon College of Art. "I'm a printmaker because it's slow and quiet and takes its time".
