Attendees will be given a 30 x 30 piece of silver and will be able to choose whether to make a pin badge or tie / lapel pin.
Both of these can also be worn on hats and scarfs etc.
They will be able to create a design of their choice using a variety of different techniques. The pieces can be made out of sterling silver or a mixture of sterling silver and copper.
It is advisable for attendees to consider what they may like to make prior to the workshop and if required to bring drawings or images of ideas they wish to create. We will then brainstorm these together and discuss possible ways to go about making them.
All materials are included in the price of this workshop.
Suitable for absolute beginners to attendees with some prior experience who may wish to build upon the skills they already have.
If reading glasses are usually worn please make sure you bring them as they will be needed!
About the tutor: Sorrel Sevier is living and working in Mid Wales and started Sorrel Sevier Handmade Jewellery business in 2011, originally making beaded costume jewellery. It wasn’t long however, before she discovered a love of silversmithing and the joy of creating her own designs from scratch. She works mostly with sterling silver, occasionally gold and likes to use copper to compliment the silver on some designs.
