This year the Welsh Group have undertaken to explore environmental themes in new work made specifically for their 2023 exhibition.
Chris Kinsey is an experienced creative writing tutor who has published 5 collections of poetry and developed Creative writing modules for Aberystwyth University'. Her most recent book 'On Rowan Edge' focuses on environmental issues, it was commissioned by Fairacre Press and launched at MWA.
No special writing expertise is needed. Let concepts, line, light, colour and, form be the catalyst for your own expression. Optional prompts will be offered to get you started.
If you’re comfortable writing straight onto a phone or a tablet please bring one. If you prefer pen and paper, that’s fine. Cathy Knapp Evans would like to make a selection of the writings to display during the exhibition.
