La Tropa Son - Colombian Music Band

Performing a range of the diverse forms of traditional Colombian music that originates from the high Andes mountains to the sultry low-lying Caribbean coast. They add a touch of the new generation to inherited music.

Catrin O’Neill grew up in Aberdyfi, surrounded by a wealth of traditional Welsh music and culture. Her humour and ability to tell a story, transports the audience to places past and present, that really set her aside from other folk singers. She is the lead singer of Allan yn y Fan, one of Wales best known traditional folk bands and is a member of the 10 Mewn Bws collective. She has toured extensively in the U.K. Ireland and Europe and performs in Welsh and English.

Originally from South Wales, but having spent most of his life in Ceredigion, Jonathan Davies has been playing traditional music for over 30 years. He has played in several bands, including 3 Legg’d Mare.
