International Day

Published on: Monday, 15 July, 2024

“An invitation to make a dish and listen to music was an attractive one. The food was truly international and each dish was accompanied by a written recipe. A great idea, and delicious food.
The choir sang with passion, joy and accomplishment. Songs from round the world.
The weather was kind, so singing chatting and eating all took place outdoors. The peacocks sat on the roof, ousted from the gardens and the swallows carried on feeding overhead.
As I left, circle dancing for all ages was underway.
Thank you”
- A message received from a member of the community who came along to the International Day of Food, Music, Dance and Goodwill at Mid Wales Arts yesterday (Sunday 14 July)

Thank you to everyone, especially to Charlotte Woodford and the Hafren Community Choir for making the day so special.

The event was sponsored by the Millennium Stadium Principality Fund supporting community engagement
