A fun, hands-on workshop to learn how to use recycled Tetra Pak cartons to create unique intaglio printing plates. Using an etching needle and craft knife you will work an image onto your plate, ink it up, and print through an etching press.
We will be working with black ink to create original prints.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or anyone wanting to learn a new approach to intaglio printmaking.

About the tutor: Elin Crowley is a printmaker who takes inspiration from the landscape around her in Mid Wales. The way of life in her Welsh speaking farming community in rural Wales is a big influence on her, especially the contradictions within it - the natural and the man made, the cold and warm, the local and the global, the living and the dead, all of which influence her sense of place in the world.
