Summer Mosaics: At these workshops you may mosaic a summer theme either onto a curved surface such as a small terracotta flower pot or a piece of slate or wooden MDF board. Themes might include summer flowers, birds, frogs or insects or something else that appeals to you.
The bases for the mosaics and all the mosaic pieces, including tiles, glass, beads, china and ceramics will be supplied but do bring your own pieces if you wish to include them in your mosaic.

About the tutor: Delia creates beautiful mosaic work using carefully selected pieces of discarded china, tesserae and found objects. Sometimes broken heirlooms revive memories, images tell new stories. Delia is a fine art painter, inspired by nature who became fascinated by the jewel-like colours, designs and patterns of glass and ceramics and the exciting possibilities of this ancient art in combining found objects in new compositions.
