Intaglio Printing with Sara Philpott

Sara Philpott will support you in designing a small concertina book.. cutting from waste plastic to produce dry point images,arranged in ways to form different narratives.This technique enables delicate shapes and drawing and lends itself to personal projects and expression.
Please feel free to bring your own small sketches to work from, or just come and be inspired by the day.
Printing can be messy so please wear suitable clothing, or bring some overalls.
This class is suitable for beginners or those with printmaking experience.
All materials are included.
About the tutor: Sara is a painter and printmaker living and working in mid Wales whose work is shown throughout Britain. Her current work frequently reflects the dialogue between the botanical and the human and is usually narrative in nature.
