Biography
Jeb Loy Nichols is a multi-talented printmaker and musician with an international reputation. Born in Wyoming, he moved to New York to study art in the 1970s and was influenced and became part of the music scene there. He moved to London in the ’80s where he established his career, eventually moving to live and work on a remote hillside in Mid Wales where he can observe and reflect and express his impressions of the world, his lifestyle, music, artwork and writing evolve symbiotically
He is an active supporter and promoter of the arts, working as a printmaker, musician, writer, mentor, teacher and performer. He teaches lino printing at Wimbledon College of Art and Mid Wales Arts.
Jeb has produced many albums, books and editions of prints. His lino prints have a refreshing clarity of line and quiet, understated appreciation of the natural and man-made world.
